Matterport for Live Events

We attended the London Proptech show recently where we met lots of interesting people who are driving innovation in the property sector. There was a lot of interest in our Geomax GNSS receivers, particularly the GIS integration for mapping out assets, and our thermal cameras were also a hit. But the product that seemed to have the most uses for property professionals at the show, from architects to estate agents, was the Matterport Pro3 camera. 

As part of our live demonstrations, we showed delegates how easily and quickly a space could be mapped out by simply pushing a button and moving the camera between scan positions. Then we thought, why not just nip around and map out the whole space?

It's amazing how quickly we were able to create an immersive digital twin, with all the dimensions captured, and now those that couldn't make it to the show can experience it digitally!

For future shows, this is a great asset when allocating exhibition space, and there are a whole host of downloadable assets, like the images you see in this article - but also,if required you can download a BIM model, schematic floor plan, e57 point cloud, Matterpak of various assets, or even upload to google street view. Whatever your reuirements, there's a deliverable you can easily achieve with no specialist knowledge or heavy computer processing. It's all generated and stored in the cloud.
