Come see us at Plantworx!

Plantworx is upon us! The UK’s premier plant and technology showcase is happening on the 13-15th of June in Peterborough.  Plantworx only comes around biennially and we encourage construction and civil engineering professionals to attend and pay us a visit!

Plantworx is the best place to see all the innovations in excavators, dozers, skidsteers and general heavy machinery. So if you work in construction, civil engineering, plant hire or any allied industry, it's the best place to see where the industry is headed and to make valuable connections.

The Surveytech booth and demo area will be showcasing machine control solutions from Unicontrol and surveying solutions from Geomax, along with laser scanners, Ground Penetrating Radar and anything else you'd like to discuss from our range. Thanks to Flannery Plant Hire, our booth will have a mini excavator CAT 307.7 fitted with Unicontrol for visitors to experience the system, and see how simple and effective machine control should be.

We are very excited to announce that Unicontrol will also be present in the Get Connected zone. We'll be fitting a system on Thomas Plant Hire's CAT 315GC 13 Tonne Zero tail excavator for demonstration. In this area of Plantworx, several operators will be digging to a set design, with their machine control displays being live broadcast to big screens for visitors to see. Be sure to catch a glimpse of Patrick Quinn and Amy Underwood demonstrating Unicontrol over the course of the event.

A freshly fitted Unicontrol system can also be viewed on Bailey Civils' new Kobelco excavator at the Engcon UK booth. Tiltrotator enthusiasts will be excited to learn that Unicontrol can now integrate seamlessly with Engcon’s tilt and rotation sensors, removing the need to retrofit an additional tilt sensor! Additionally the Engcon DC2 app can be installed directly onto Unicontrol’s android display, so Engcon diagnostics and support can be carried out remotely.

With three different excavators including swing boom and tilt rotator attachments, it's a great opportunity to see how flexible the Unicontrol system is in adapting to all varieties.
