Surveytech Partners with Navlive to Launch AI-Powered 3D Scanning Across the UK

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to become a distributor for Navlive. This new partnership is set to transform the UK’s reality capture landscape by introducing Navlive’s cutting-edge, AI-driven handheld 3D scanning technology to a broader market.

By combining Surveytech’s technical expertise with Navlive’s advanced SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technology, surveyors can now access tools that capture data and generate real-time floor plans.

There is no shortage of mobile scanners from different manufacturers available on the market, but we feel this one really stands out in the ease of use, and speed to get from scan to plan. The differentiating factor is the built-in NVDIA chip that allows pointclouds to be processed on device. This means that you potentially cut down on hours of processing files to create the pointclouds you need. The second innovation is the AI-engine that automatically slices through the data and creates plans and elevation drawings. Combined with the trigger function to recognise doors and windows, you can very quickly get to the CAD deliverable that you need to keep your project moving. 

Introducing the Navlive Radius: Speed Meets Precision

After months of testing we are able to bring the Navlive Radius to the market through our channels; it's a handheld scanner engineered to eliminate traditional surveying bottlenecks. Instead of dealing with repeated stationary setups, field operators can capture high-accuracy 3D point clouds and 2D layouts simply by walking through a building. With the pointclouds processing just as quickly, this isn't a case of saving time in the field, just to lose it in the office. Often within minutes (depending on how long you scan for), the user can download .E57, .LAS or .LAZ files, depending on what they require. For as-built verification and comparing design to reality, this is a huge step forward.
